The Institute of Management Accountants is dedicated to excellence within the management accounting profession. The Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation was developed in 1972 to provide an objective measure of an individual’s knowledge and competence in the field of management accounting. Only the CMA program recognizes the unique proficiencies required for success in this challenging profession.

Part 1 – Financial Reporting, Planning, Performance and Control

1. SECTION A: External Financial Reporting Decisions (15%)
2. SECTION B: Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting (30%)
3. SECTION C: Performance Management (20%)
4. SECTION D: Cost Management (20%)
5. SECTION E: Internal Controls (15%).

Part 2 – Financial Decision Making

1. SECTION A: Financial Statement Analysis (25%)
2. SECTION B: Corporate Finance (20%)
3. SECTION C: Decision Analysis(20%)
4. SECTION D: Risk Management (10%)
5. SECTION E: Investment Decisions (15%)
6. SECTION F: Professional Ethics (10%)
